Sand
Sand blasting grain may be of different materials e.g. silica sand, dolomit, olivin and can be smooth or rough-edge. Usually sand
is inexpensive as blast material but it is diffucult to recycle in the blasting operation for reuse compared to some metal blast
media. Its use is restricted because of the danger of silicosis.
